Cannabis is an annual herb - that is to say it germinates, flowers, sets seed and dies in one year. Male and female flowering parts appear on separate plants (although it is possible to grow hermaphrodites).
Cannabis has two main varieties, cannabis sativa and cannabis indica.
Sativa is characterised by a tall growth habit, slender fingered leaves, lowish flower to leaf ratio and rather long flowering period.
Indica is characterised by a bushier growth pattern with wider fingered leaves, a higher flower to leaf ratio and a shorter, more predictable flowering period.
When smoked, sativa gives a clear, up, cerebral high while indica produces a 'stonier' more physical hit. In the last few decades, enthusiasts have created
sativa/indica hybrids which combine the best features of both varieties.
The weather in the UK does not entirely suit the requirements of what is, essentially, a tropical plant. This guide attempts to show how a carefully controlled environment coupled with a suitable choice of plant variety can produce herb of the highest quality. In the author's opinion, herb
grown organically tastes and smells better than hydroponically grown; therefore a compost-based method is fully described but fans of hydroponic methods will find that the principles outlined still hold good.

hybrid made by crossing the AK47 with the Lowryder,
and ulteriorly selected for Grass-o-Matic. A happy
combination between the rinomate virtues of the AK47
-one of the most rewarded plants - and the extremele
easy and fast maturation of the Lowryder. The
greatest and most powerful plant “100% automatic”
available today, suitable also for therapeutical
uses. With its 50-60 cm of average height, it finds
place practically anywhere. After a first phase of
growth of approximately 2-3 weeks, the plant quickly
goes to flowering stage developing great compact
buds covered from a diamond veil of resin and with a

- Great News!, after
months of rumours, finally the holy grail that is
Lowryder female is available to buy.
Feminised
lowryder
is in fact a female version of Lowryder # 2.
Lowryder
#2 is a cross between the autoflowering dwarf,
Lowryder, and a
variety
known for copious
resin
production, exotic taste and soaring highs (Santa
Maria is an indica/sativa mix originally from
Brazil). This cross produces compact, bushy
very-early flowering plants with prolific budding.
The aroma combines the earthy, mossy tones of
Lowryder with the wonderfully spicy yet sweet aroma
of the Brazilian. This cross is suitable for compact
indoor or closet cultivation, as well as outdoors
for a very early harvest (end of July to mid
August). Yields superior to Lowryder. Flowering is
complete after 9 weeks from the seed and it begins
since the third. Height is 45-50 cm (17-19 inches).
Production is 28-42 grams per plant. This
variety
is now fully stable and auto-flowering.
